Emergency Preparedness:  Aurora, Davison, Hanson Pandemic Influenza Response Plan

July 2008

The Pandemic Influenza Response Plan is a document that will be periodically reviewed and undergo many changes over time.  These reviews will be brought about as the plan is further developed, test, exercised and reviewed by other agencies.  Therefore, think of this document as a work in progress or "a living document".  This plan is not a substitute for any individual, family, school, business or organization plan as each of the entities needs to have a pandemic influenza response plan in place.

The material in this Plan has been assembled for the purpose of guiding the County's, Region, and its citizens in planning for a possible influenza pandemic.  However, further work is ongoing in this area, and consequently changes, deletions, additions or other amendments may be made to the plan without notice.

Pandemic Influenza Response Plan

This Plan, written as a separate plan due to specific planning functions distinct to this type of incident, is both supported by and augments the Emergency Plans that are in existence in all three jurisdictions within the region.  This Plan does not attempt to be all inclusive from the planning perspective nor does it take precedence over any other plan in place.  This plan does not attempt to establish or fulfill the planning function for any individual organization or business, yet creates an overview of the response of our region to a pandemic incident.
