Kidney Dialysis/Chronic Hemodialysis

Mitchell Kidney Dialysis, sponsored by Total Renal Care, Inc. and located at Avera Queen of Peace Hospital, is equipped with six patient stations to provide chronic hemodialysis. Services are available Monday through Saturday, from 6:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Those needing services while traveling in the area are invited to call and check on the availability of appointments.

Inpatient kidney dialysis is provided by Avera Queen of Peace in all patient care units through the use of portable equipment. Dr. Richard Jensen, Nephrologist, serves as Medical Director for both kidney dialysis services.
