Director of Materials Management Named at Avera Queen of Peace
Thomas P. Rasmusson, President and CEO, Avera Queen of Peace Health Services, is pleased to announce that Jeff Larson has accepted the position of Director of Materials Management.
As director, he will organize, direct, and coordinate programs to purchase materials, supplies, and equipment for hospital and clinic use; assist department directors in determining the quality, effectiveness, and durability of products; monitor the proper quantities and timeliness of supplies delivered throughout the hospital; and maintain inventory records according to the hospital’s inventory control procedure.
According to Rasmusson, “We are pleased that Jeff accepted the director position at Avera Queen of Peace. Prior to his 20 years as Director of Materials Management at Huron Regional Medical Center, Jeff served as Assistant Purchasing Director and CSR Supervisor at St. Joseph Hospital/Avera Queen of Peace for three years, so he has some familiarity with our operation.”
Jeff graduated from Huron College in 1976 with a degree in Business Administration/Economics. Jeff and his wife, Jean, are the parents of three grown children.
