Avera Queen of Peace Hosts Free Joint Seminar

The public is cordially invited to attend a free Joint Seminar at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 13, in the Community Room at Avera Queen of Peace Hospital. Those attending will learn about the signs, symptoms, causes, and treatment of joint pain, as well as additional information about bone and joint diseases and the treatments available. Chris Lippert, Director of OR, Joint Seminar Program Manager, will present the seminar.

The Community Room entrance is located on the west end of the hospital, closest to the Wellness Center. The Community Room is on the lower level. Those having problems with stairs are encouraged to use the hospital lobby entrance and ask for directions.

This program is designed for individuals who are having joint pain, are looking for answers to health questions, and may be having difficulty making decisions about which form of treatment to choose in order to get on with their lives. Attendees will be educated regarding their conditions and treatments that may offer relief of pain, including information about medications, nutrition, and exercise.
