Avera Marshall Regional Medical Center Tobacco-Free Campus

We are Concerned for the Health of Everyone on Our Campus

Effective October 1, 2002, smoking and the use of tobacco products are prohibited in or on all Avera Marshall Regional Medical Center-owned or leased buildings, grounds and parking lots. Smoking and tobacco use has been clearly identified as the number one preventable cause of disease and death. Because Avera Marshall Regional Medical Center is concerned for the health and well-being of everyone on our campus, we have an obligation to eliminate the hazards of both first- and second-hand smoke from our buildings and surroundings.
