Charitable Donations Support Avera Marshall's Health Services & Programs

Avera Marshall is committed to providing the highest quality, compassionate, cost-effective health care possible. To continue to provide this level of care to the region, we need the help and support of the community we serve. The Weiner Memorial Foundation was created to provide an additional source of financial support for the hospital, resident care and home health services.

Every contribution is important to us as we continue to serve the health needs of those you know and love. A gift to the Foundation is a simple, effective way to express your support for the medical center and help insure that the health care you have enjoyed and appreciated during your lifetime will be there for generations to come.

All gifts to the Foundation are used to enhance the scope of services, educational programs and expansion of existing facilities. You as a donor can decide where you would like your dollars to be used.

Memorial Gifts

Memorial gifts are a special way to recognize a family member, co-worker or other person who has touched your life. It is an expression of your love and appreciation for the life you shared together, or a way to celebrate the difference this special person made in your life.

Honor Gifts

Honor gifts are a way to recognize a special event or special person in your life. It may be the birth of a child or grandchild... the birthday of your father who has everything... a special anniversary... or any other occasion for which you are thankful.

Grateful Patient

In recognition of the excellent care from our health care team, many patients want to give something back in honor of those who cared for them.

When you make a gift contribution, notification will be sent to the person or family you designate, without mentioning the amount of your gift. You will also receive acknowledgement of your gift. Your name and the name of the person being honored will be recognized in Avera Marshall's Health Matters publication.

Cash Gift

Make an outright gift for any amount in cash, check or credit card. Designate where you would like your gift to be used.

Gifts by Will or Living Trust

A bequest is the most traditional way to provide important help for worthwhile causes. With a gift through your will or living trust, you retain full use of your gift property during your lifetime.

Life Insurance

You can name Weiner Memorial Foundation as the beneficiary of your life insurance. You can do so by contacting your insurance company.

Securities

You can magnify your support by giving stocks or other assets that have (a) gone up in value, and (b) been owned by you for more than 12 months.

Real Estate

Congress has created special incentives to encourage giving gifts of real estate.

Pillar of Hope

The Weiner Memorial Foundation Pillar of Hope is a donor recognition area located near the main entrance of Avera Marshall. It is a tribute to our donors who have been most generous and thoughtful.

To be eligible for a nameplate on the Pillar of Hope, you must make a contribution of $1,000 or more and have reached the Patron level. This level can be atained through cumulative giving.
