Table Setting & Holiday Fair

Saturday, November 8, 2008  ·  9 a.m. - 3 p.m.  

Plans are underway for Weiner Memorial Foundation’s annual Table Setting and Holiday Fair to be held on Saturday, November 8 at the Marshall Golf Club. This event will again feature the viewing of a wide array of beautiful table settings and a silent auction of items designed by area individuals and businesses. Other highlights include the sale of holiday centerpieces and merchandise available from the Avera Marshall Auxiliary Gift Shop. A lunch will also be served from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Proceeds from this event will be used to enhance health care services at Avera Marshall Regional Medical Center.

Share your Talents!

The Table Setting & Holiday Fair committee is now taking registrations for individuals interested in setting a table at the event. Show off your favorite pieces, create a tribute to a beloved family member or friend, or share your ideas on how to turn everyday dishes into an extraordinary table setting. Complete the registration form and return it to:

As part of your registration, we ask that you provide us with a description of your table setting to be used in the event booklet. You can use these examples as a guide in writing your description.

Tickets

Tickets for the event are $7 for the table setting review or $20 for a luncheon ticket (luncheon ticket includes the review). Advance tickets are available at the Avera Marshall business office, Hy-Vee, County Fair, Bremer Bank, the Marshall Golf Club, and in Minneota at Ufkin's Furniture & Appliance.

Volunteers

Volunteers are also needed to help at the event. If you are interested, contact Mary Boulton, Weiner Memorial Foundation director.
