The Avera McKennan Trauma Center is home to specialized medical professionals with the latest in critical care equipment and techniques. Demonstrating commitment and capability, our Trauma Center is always equipped to treat your injuries. Avera McKennan’s Emergency & Trauma Services are verified Level II by the American College of Surgeons.

Morbidity and mortality from trauma are major concerns for all communities. The majority of trauma victims are cared for in local healthcare facilities. For those rural patients who warrant specialized diagnostics, interventions, and critical care, the Avera McKennan Trauma Team responds with comprehensive healthcare.
