Curaquick Avera is a new, unique health care clinic designed to meet the changing needs of today's consumer. Located at the Hy-Vee stores on Minnesota Avenue and Marion Road, Curaquick Avera offers walk-in health care during days, weeknights and weekends for common family illnesses. Appointments and insurance are not required. With the close proximity to Hy-Vee pharmacies, prescriptions can be filled on the spot. It's convenient, affordable and quick.

Professional Staff: Care is delivered by a licensed practitioner, such as a nurse practitioner or physician's assistant, in collaboration with a McGreevy Clinic Avera family physician.

Each Avera MyPlan policyholder in Lincoln and Minnehaha counties will receive a Curaquick card that allows for one visit to a Curaquick clinic.

Who can be seen at Curaquick Avera?

Curaquick Avera is convenient for many patients. The clinic sees patients aged 18 months and older and no appointment is necessary. Patients are seen on a first-come, first-served basis for health care needs such as:

  • Headaches
  • Allergies
  • Joint pain
  • Basic physicals
  • Upper respiratory ailments
  • Skin irritations and conditions
  • Upset stomach or heartburn
  • Vaccinations for influenza, pneumonia or tetanus
  • Tests for strep or urinary tract infections

How much does a visit cost?

Cost is $59 per visit. Fees may vary with the addition of lab work and/or the administration of vaccines/immunizations.

Will I receive the same quality care expected at a traditional clinic?

Patients can expect care at Curaquick Avera to be driven by medical protocols at the same high standard provided at all Avera McKennan facilities. Practitioners authorize any needed prescription medications for treatment. More serious cases are referred to the physician of their choice or the emergency room, if needed.
