Position: EMT (ongoing need)
Status: On Call
Hours of Duty: Rotating shifts with weekend and holiday involvement
Performs basic life support service and makes emergency response calls in accordance with the established Minnesota Department of Health Standards. Serves as either a patient attendant or driver of the emergency vehicle.
Position: Pharmacist
Status: Casual (no guaranteed hours)
Hours of Duty: Primarily day hours with flexibility to participate with occasional evening and weekend
needs in the absence of the full-time pharmacist.
This position fulfills the daily provision of pharmaceutical care including, but not limited to, dispensing of medications to the inpatients and outpatients of Tyler Healthcare Center including procurement of pharmaceutics under direction of the pharmacy manager. Maintains confidentiality when dealing with all customers. Must be flexible and have the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Performs duties in a manner consistent with safety principles and regulatory requirements. Coordinates work flow with other team members to ensure a productive and efficient environment. Must be a registered Pharmacist in the State of Minnestoa.
Position: Medical Records Specialist
Status: Full-time
Hours of Duty: Primarily daytime hours, Monday-Friday, 8 hours per day
Performs various medical record and computer duties to aide in the efficiency of a very busy, fast-paced department. Assists with coding in accordance with the approved classification systems of ICD-9-CM and CPT 4. Compiles and analyzes charts for deficiencies and routes to appropriate personnel and provides general support to all medical record functions. Interprets and transcibes dictation by physicians and other healthcare professionals regarding patient assessments, workups, therapeutic procedures, clinical courses, diagnosis, etc. in order to document patient and facilitate delivery of healthcare services. Must maintain confidentiality when dealing with all customers, patients, and clients. Must be energetic and a team player. Must have excellent computer and customer service skills. Experience in similar setting preferred. Completion of Medical Secretary program or Medical Coding Specialist program or one to two years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, pharmacology and the various medical specialties as required in areas of responsibility.
Position: Certified Nursing Assistant - Temporary - Nursing Home
Status: Full-time
Hours of Duty: Primarily Nights - All positions involve weekend and holiday rotation
Performs various patient care activities and related nonprofessional services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comforts of the resident. Must be certified as a Nursing Assistant in the State of Minnesota. Experience working with the elderly population preferred.
Position: Licensed Practical Nurse/Registered Nurse - Long Term Care
Status: Part-time
Hours of Duty: Rotating 8-hour shifts, holidy and weekend involvement
Performs nursing care involving direct services for all nursing home residents. Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and be licensed as an LPN or RN in the State of Minnesota. One year of experience in nursing preferred.
