Avera eICU® CARE allows us to save lives and help people heal faster through the power of telemedicine;  the combination of long-distance data exchange, specially trained ICU technicians, in-house staff, and powerful, real-time computer and camera monitoring.

Specially trained physicians, or intensivists, who specialize in caring for critically ill patients, monitor patient conditions around-the-clock.  Information such as patients' vital signs, medications, x-rays and test results are sent and analyzed by an operations center in Sioux Falls, SD., which allows for early intervention through coordination with Pipestone County Medical Center ICU physicians and nurses.
