We are proud to serve the health needs of people throughout our region with services provided by experienced, highly trained physicians.  Regular visits from specialists help patients receive the medical care they need, close to home.

At the Pipestone Family Clinic, our goal is to make your visit to the clinic as beneficial as possible.  You can help by doing the following:

  • For each appointment, please bring your current prescription bottles and health insurance cards.
  • We encourage you to know your insurance benefits & requirements.
  • Follow your doctor's treatment plan.  If you are unable to do so, talk to your doctor.
  • Provide a complete health history to help with correct diagnosis & treatment.
  • If you can't keep your appointment, please call to cancel as early as possible.

Pre-Registration

If you have already scheduled an appointment you may pre-register by printing a copy of the pre-registration form.  Please complete the form and mail or bring it with you the day of your appointment. 

Pre-registering will speed up the check-in process.

Fees/Billing

Fees for professional services, laboratory, x-ray and other special services are based on the nature and extent of the services rendered.

Billing statements are sent out at varying times of the month, depending on the first letter of your last name.  Statements are sent to the head of household.  All charges are due and payable within 30 days.  All co-payments are due and payable at the time of service.  All patients are required to show their medical coverage cards at each visit.  If you have any questions regarding your account, please feel free to call.

If you are receiving care for a work-related injury, please notify the receptionist when you arrive for your appointment.  We will need to obtain employer information for billing purposes.

 

Insurance

It is the patient's responsibility to provide our business office with accurate insurance policy information.  We will submit claims to your insurance company as a courtesy.  However, the account balance is ultimately the patient's responsibility.  For those without insurance, payment plans are available.

All providers at the Pipestone Family Clinic participate with Medicare Part B.  Claims are sent by the clinic, and Medicare sends payments directly to the clinic.  The clinic also files claims for supplemental Medicare insurance.  Patients with supplemental insurance need to provide policy information to the business office so that claims can be sent.

Our insurance office is available to assist you with any questions you have regarding insurance processing.
