In appreciation of Dr. Helmers who has retired after 37 years

At times our own light goes out and is rekindled by a spark from another person.

Dr. Helmers we would like to thank you, for having lighted the flame within us.

We truly appreciate your hard work and dedication you have given the community and all of us at OCH throughout the many years of service.

  • What do you say to the MD who has advised you for the past 30 some years? A thank you seems to be insufficient. But thank you anyway for your care and advice on my old age owiees. May you have a little more time to stop and smell the roses.
  • Thank you for being such a caring and thorough doctor in taking care of us. You have an outstanding "bedside manner." I never felt you considered my questions and symptoms inconsequential. I shall certainly miss you. But here I am 91 without my Dr. Helmers. Best wishes for your future plans.
