HMHC Wellness Center

Hegg Wellness Center is dedicated to promoting your health.  There is always a wellness staff member available to help get you started or help with any questions.  Cardiovascular health is promoted by providing treadmills, stationary bicycles, elliptical, and NuStep's.  Muscular strength and endurance is promoted by providing weight machines to target all the major muscle groups of the body, free weights, stability balls, and weighted medicine balls to name a few.

Personal Training

The Hegg Wellness Center offers an excellent Personal Training program that allows participants to work one-on-one with a Personal Trainer.  Personal Training is a results-driven exercise program designed specifically for you.Your personal trainer will motivate you and provide the direction necessary to reach your individual health and wellness goals.

HMHC Wellness Classes

Power Pace - an exciting new twist on biking. Your instructor will lead you through the top rated aerobics class to burn calories and get into great shape. This class is low impact and high cardio - beginners welcome.
Warning - this class is guaranteed to make you SWEAT! Towel and water bottle required.
Located above City Hall - limit 14 per class.

Pilates - this class focuses on core strength and stability. You will develop your flexibility and balance as you tone your muscles. Anyone can do Pilates and see results after only a few classes. Join us for a good work out in a relaxing environment!
Located above City Hall - limit 10 mats available per class or bring your own mat.

Circuit Training - Created to sculpt and strengthen the body's major muscle groups by using the cardio and resistance machines, hand weights and much more. This class incorporates cardio, muscle toning, and FUN! Located in the HMHC Wellness Center.

Athletic Enhancement Camps

The goals of this program are to help athletes reach full potential through agility, Plyometrics, speed, and endurance training. These camps will help athletes reach their full potential through sport specific agility, Plyometrics, and speed training. This program will also reduce the number of injuries that athletes may incur by implementation of appropriate conditioning and building a proper strength base for the upcoming sport seasons.

Our summer session is a 4 or 8 week program running from the end of May to end of July.  Athletes will attend 2 sessions per week.  The 4-week sessions will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays.  The 8-week sessions will be held on Mondays and Wednesdays
Typically camp sessions last approximately 1 ½ to 2 hours.
