Avera Children's - Oncology and Hematology Care

Our specialists offer compassionate care for children who have been diagnosed with cancer, hemophilia or other blood disorders, and their families. Our team was the first to provide this care in South Dakota and continues to be a leader in pediatric oncology. By providing this care, we give children and their families hope for the future.

Special Services

Comprehensive specialty care for children of all ages is our focus. Our pediatric hematologist/oncologists care for patients in both the Avera Cancer Institute and the Avera Children's clinic. This allows a close relationship with our other children's specialists and provides easy access to the vast cancer technologies and resources available in the Cancer Institute.
