Avera McKennan School of Radiologic Technology
Mission
We shall strive to exceed the expectations of our students by providing the highest quality education, which will enable the students to precisely administer radiation as a diagnostic tool and perform a variety of diagnostic and special diagnostic procedures. We commit to developing each student’s greatest potential by encouraging them to apply knowledge and skills in ministering to the physical, psychological, and spiritual needs of the patient.
We shall achieve this mission by providing a full continuum of academic and practical experiences, and responding to the needs of the patients and the institution the students will eventually serve. We will keep apprised of technological advances so the students can readily adjust to any situation, provide responsible care and achieve above average standards as a Radiologic Technologist.
