Behavioral Health Partial Hospital Program

Our partial hospitalization program is used for patients in need of stabilizing care intended to avoid or reduce inpatient hospitalization. Other possible patients can include individuals experiencing acute psychiatric symptoms or clinical conditions that are severely impacting day-to-day functioning.

The treatment plan often begins with the patient coming to the hospital five days per week for a number of weeks then slowly reducing the visits to three, then two days per week.

We also offer an Intensive Outpatient Program for patients in need of 6-11 hours per week of group psychotherapy and outpatient education.

Free mental health assessments are available and include inpatient admission, coordination/pre-certification, and outpatient referral coordination. Please call (605) 322-4065 or 1-800-691-4336 to inquire about an assessment or ask any questions.
